This lodge is nestled in the middle of the beautiful Chintsa Bay on the Wild Coast, surrounded by rolling hills, lush tropical beach forests and overlooks the warm Indian Ocean. A romantic getaway to explore the many beautiful treasures the Wild Coast has to offer. Spend your days walking on our endless golden beaches and be absorbed by the untouched natural beauty of the landscape while discovering new exotic bird and fish life indigenous to the area.
Our location is malaria free. We are approximately 42km from East London, the surfside city famous for its Nahoon Reef. Far enough from the maddening crowd, but close enough for emergencies.

Our Lodge offers 20 luxury suites which consist of double and twin bedrooms, all en-suite and each with its own private balcony, overlooking the sea.
The suites are fully equipped with bar fridge, DSTV, coffee and tea making facilities, with air conditioning or fans and fully equipped kitchenettes.
Furthermore, we have a number of self-catering thatched cottages secluded in and amongst the forest dunes, each with their own private deck, where one can unwind with family and friends while the sun goes down and a fire burns in the background.
All rooms are also equiped with a safe for your personal belongings.
BAR AND LOUNGE:
Get acquainted with your fellow guests by interacting in our lounge, having a drink in the bar or merely floating around the lawn and pool area under the tropical Khamanga palms. Our elevated lounge and deck gives a fantastic panaramic view of the bay. In our establishment we offer facilities to benefit couples in love with the capacity to accommodate wedding parties of up to 100 persons. Ceremonies can be held indoors or on the beach followed by a picturesque reception in our dining room overlooking the bay.

Leisure activities
• Beach Walks and Hiking: You can take an uninterrupted walk East to Haga Haga, an approximate 15 km. Alternatively, head West towards Chintsa West,. Reef Point, Glen Muir and all the way to Glengariff. We also form part of the Wild Coast Amble, and Strandloper Trail.
• Canoes: Trips can be organised with external operators.
• Fishing: Rock and surf fishing. Deep sea Charters can be arranged.
• Birding: Observe our rich variety of birdlife. We have a list of birds in our area, which you will find in your directory of services, alternatively reception can provide you with one. Special tours can also be arranged.
• Game drives: Tours and game drives can be arranged at one of the neighbouring reserves. Offering the “Big 5” as well as Elephant Interaction & Safari’s. There is also a lion park close by.
• Biking: Mountain bike trails and rentals are available through one of the neighbouring operators.
• Abseiling: Can be arranged through one of the neighbouring operators.
• Quad Biking: Rentals are available through one of the neighbouring operators.
• Horse Riding: Beach rides are available in area.
• Wave Riding: Can be arranged through one of the neighbouring operators.
• Yoga, Massaging and Beauty Therapy is available in the village.
Children activities:
The playground includes jungle gyms, swings and a games room. Board games and beach cricket is also available. The Lagoon is also safe for the children to swim and play in.

• Ethnic & Township experiences: Tours can be arranged which will expose the tourist to the unique culture of Xhosa people.
• Day hikes: Arrangements can be made through reception. Includes packed lunch or breakfast pack and return transport.
• Day trips: It is possible to arrange trips to visit Haga Haga, Morgans Bay & Kei Mouth

We pride ourselves on a great dining experience. Greet the day with our tasty and nutritious breakfasts overlooking the shimmering ocean. Join us on the sunny deck for an al fresco lunch with a cold beverage of your choice. Open a great bottle of wine whilst the moonlit bay sets the mood for intimate dinners. We are situated only 8km away from the popular Inkwekwezi Private Game Reserve. One can make enquiries at reception about availability and the friendly staff of the game lodge will collect keen game viewers from within the Crawford’s complex.
Guided Safari’s Half Day Tours
Experience true tranquility as you view the abundance of wildlife from our open-topped 4x4 vehicles. Game viewing can be enjoyed either with our morning or afternoon game drive. The tour includes a drive through our lion reserve as well as a refreshment stop, where complimentary light refreshment can be enjoyed.
Guided Sunset Game Drive
Enjoy a game drive at dusk, with the sun setting, bringing about the nocturnal life on the reserve. View them with spotlights in a complete different time of day. There are also mountain bike and quad bike trails as well as an elephant sanctuary.

Addo Elephant Park
Situated in a malaria free area just one hour's drive from Port Elizabeth, this finely tuned ecosystem is sanctuary to over 450 elephants, Cape buffalo, a variety of antelope species, as well as the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.
Some of its unique features include:
* Unrivalled natural diversity, with five of South Africa's seven major vegetation zones (biomes).
* The Big 7 (Elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard, whales and great white sharks) in their natural habitat.
