Located on the beach front of Gonubie, the Hotel is a 3 star family run hotel boasting two restaurants and 4 bars with beautiful views over the Gonubie bay. Our guests have a choice between B&B and self catering accommodation. The Galleon restaurant provides both guests and locals with a mouth watering a la Carte cuisine and our other services include breakfast, lunch and dinners at The Deck restaurant. The Hotel is perfectly situated for weddings and has 3 fully equipped conference facilities to suit various bridal couples needs. The Travelling Brides team of consultants prepare a beautiful ceremony on the beach before everyone gathers in the hotel for the reception. The Hotel is a stone’s throw away from a breath taking beach including safe lagoons, tidal pools and the Gonubie River. Our guests enjoy a relaxing stroll across one of South Africans longest boardwalks to the main Gonubie beach. Our flagship restaurant The Deck provides guest with views of the bay where they can watch dolphins play and immerse themselves in the beauty and wildlife of the Eastern Cape coastline.

If you are flying into the Eastern Cape, transfers can be arranged from the airport and back again.
Note that breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner wedding menu’s are available and weddings can take place on any day during the week and over a weekend.
Table decorated for a champagne toast after the ceremony on the beach or on a deck overlooking the ocean can be arranged. Snacks can be arranged for guests whilst the bridal couple have photographs done.
Wine or champagne can be arranged for the tables and there is a cash bar available
Tie backs can be arranged in the colour of your choice.
Accommodation for guests is available at the hotel and there is self catering nearby. Rates are affordable at R650 per couple per night including breakfast.
A DJ or even live music can be arranged for your wedding with music of your choice.
A wedding cake can also be arranged.
Note that a 10% surcharge is charged on final food bill to cover additional waiters for the day so no tips are expected.
