South Africa is well known for game safari’s and having a wedding out in the bushveld whilst on a safari sunset game drive is not only different, it’s breathtaking. Important to note that these are relatively small weddings because the landcruiser can only accommodate for a small number of guests and of course it’s important to have the minister and the photographer along.
There is a kaleidoscope of colour as the sun kisses the bush and mountain tops goodnight and it’s the warmest feeling as you repeat your vows in this most romantic of settings imaginable. The land viewer transports a few guests, bridal couple, minister and photographer through the bushveld, stopping here and there to take in the awesome views and then, as the sun begins to set, they arrive at a beautiful part of the bushveld where vows are exchanged followed by a glass of bubbly.
Upon arrival back at the lodge, an awesome dinner awaits the couple. This setting is extremely romantic and is served on the terrace just outside the honeymoon suite. Lanterns and candles are used to create a beautiful romantic setting. Covered chairs with tie backs and decorated table is done for the couple and dinner is served with a bottle of bubbly.
The bridal couple can then relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility and can increase their stay to however many nights they would like. There are many excursions on offer from romantic picnics by the dam to microlighting or wine tasting tours.
