The Elope team are constantly looking for “different” venues and here, we feature just a few of them. All offer full wedding packages with decor, minister, flowers etc. More will be added soon so please visit often.
The Booze Cruise Wedding - A booze cruiser beautifully decorated for a wedding in ribbons, lanterns, balloons and fairylights. Get married in the middle of the Vaal river. You can have the reception on board the cruiser with snack platters and a cash bar OR you can have an early morning sunrise breakfast...whatever suits you.
The Bush Island - An island surrounded by a beautiful dam. The walkway decorated with flowers and ferns. The island can be set up with tables and chairs to give a very unique tropical setting. A picnic reception lunch can be served or after the ceremony and toasts, you can return to the lodge for a luxury South African braai.
The cave wedding - at the foot of the Drakensberg mountains is a little cave which is so perfectly used for bridal couples wanting something really different. Exchange vows at sunset with the mighty Drakensberg mountain as the back drop and then spend a night or two in the cave. Breakfast is delivered to your cave door and other meals can be taken in the restaurants in the area
Safari Wedding - Get married on safari at sunset. Decorated safari cruiser, surrounded by the bushveld and wildlife and then return to the lodge for a beautiful candlelit romantic dinner or if you have guests, you can opt for the luxury bushveld braai.
Spiritual weddings can be arranged using a Labyrinth so please enquire.
Wedding ceremony in a hot air balloon can be arranged and is very different and romantic. Just YOU, your loved one, the minister and your pilot when you say “I do” high above the most beautiful part of South Africa. Can it actually get any better than THIS??
Cultural weddings can now be arranged and are highly recommended for a true African experience.
His, hers and ours - Are you getting married to someone who has three children of theirs, you have two of your own and there is one on the way??? You would like to include the children but not quite sure where to start? Our team can help you with a package that will ensure everyone is happy. Highly important to choose resorts that are child friendly so that any tantrums go unnoticed.
Pregnant? Want to get married quietly without any fuss and need a quiet venue who will ensure that both YOU and your baby are well looked after throughout? Our team can help. We have a large selection of venues that will ensure our mums to be are treated like royalty.
Elope to the surrounding islands - We are able to offer full wedding packages to most of the surrounding islands and destinations. Mauritius, Zanzibar, Seychelles and Kenya all offer full, legal wedding packages which will include your honeymoon. Mozambique, Greece, Far East Islands, Maldives and a few others will do a wedding ceremony but taking care of the legalities is expensive and very time consuming so many couples opt to taking care of the paperwork a day or two prior to departure. We are able to help with this without a problem.
The Tamboti forest wedding - On the outskirts of Pretoria, surrounded by Tamboti trees, you can have a moonlight wedding using our bush chapel which will be beautifully decorated with lanterns and fairylights and then have a forest picnic near the dam. Tables and chairs chained by fairylights with picnic spread fit for cindarella.
